Issued 8:00 PM NDT 15 April 2014 Tonight and Wednesday At 8:00 p.m. NDT tonight deepening low 992 mb located near the
St. Lawrence River.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 967 mb located over northeastern
Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday cold front from low located over New
Brunswick.
By 8:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday cold front from 967 mb low located over
central Newfoundland.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 7:55 PM NDT 15 April 2014 A low pressure system near the mouth of the St. Lawrence River will
move across Labrador tonight and will lie over the Labrador Sea by
Wednesday morning. A trailing cold front will move across
Newfoundland later on Wednesday. Strong to gale force southerly winds
will prevail over much of the district today and Wednesday.
Winds will veer to strong to gale force westerlies over western
waters late in the day on Wednesday with the passage of the cold
front.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port, East Coast
- north of Cape St. Francis, Northeast Coast and the Belle Isle Bank.
