Issued 3:00 AM NST 29 November 2014 Today Tonight and Sunday At 3:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 992 mb located over the
southeastern Grand Banks.
By 10:00 a.m. NST today departing low 988 mb located east of the
Grand Banks.

At 3:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
the East Coast of the U.S.
By 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday approaching ridge located on a line
north-south over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

By 3:00 a.m. NST Sunday approaching low 990 mb located over
James Bay.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:58 AM NST 29 November 2014 A low pressure system currently over the Southeastern Grand Banks
will move east of the marine district this morning. Gale force
southwesterlies south of the low will shift to strong northwesterlies
in its wake over southernmost waters.

Meanwhile, a strong ridge of high pressure will build southeast of
the Grand Banks as an intensifying low pressure system tracks into
Northern Quebec late Sunday. Strong to gale force southwesterlies
will develop over gulf and northern waters between these two features
Sunday afternoon.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northeast Gulf, Gulf - Port au Port, and Southeastern Grand Banks -
southeastern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Strait of Belle Isle, Northeast Coast and Belle Isle Bank.
