east-west over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
At 10:00 a.m. ADT today low 1002 mb located south of East Scotian
By 10:00 a.m. ADT Friday low 1002 mb located south of Georges Bank.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:56 AM ADT 2 October 2014 A low pressure system will remain south of the marine district today
and Friday while a ridge of high pressure remains over the Gulf of St
Lawrence. Winds will gradually increase between these two features to
become strong northeasterlies over all but northern Gulf waters by
this afternoon, with gales over most Atlantic waters south
Of Nova Scotia.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Browns Bank, Georges Bank, southwestern shore, LaHave Bank, West
Scotian Slope, eastern shore, Sable, East Scotian Slope, southern
half of Banquereau, and Laurentian Fan.
