Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 3:00 AM NDT 30 September 2014 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 3:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 953 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today low 1003 mb located over northern Quebec.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 996 mb located over central
Labrador Sea.

At 3:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located on a line east-west over the
Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 3:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing ridge located east of the
Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 2:50 AM NDT 30 September 2014 A low pressure system will remain quasi-stationary southeast of
Greenland today. Strong to gale force northwesterlies over northern
waters will diminish this morning.

Additionally, a second low pressure system over Northern Quebec will
track southeastward to lie over the Labrador Sea overnight tonight.
Over northern waters, strong to gale force southwesterlies will
develop this evening and veer to strong to gale force northwesterlies
Wednesday under the influence of these systems.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
Belle Isle Bank - northeastern half.
