Issued 4:00 PM NST 22 November 2014 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 962 mb located over southeastern
Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday low 964 mb located east of Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located over Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday trough located over Belle Isle Bank.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 PM NST 22 November 2014 An intense low pressure system over the Southeastern Labrador Sea
will continue to move towards Greenland tonight and Sunday. Gale to
storm force northeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to gale to
storm force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south,
South Labrador Sea, Northwest Labrador Sea - southern half, and East
Labrador Sea - northern half. Gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville and the Labrador coast.
