Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:34 AM NST 9 December 2013 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary southeast of
Greenland while a ridge of high pressure slowly builds in from the
west. Gale force northwesterlies will gradually diminish from western
to eastern waters by early Tuesday morning.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and the North Labrador Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
