By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday low 955 mb located over the East
At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough from low located on a line
northeast-southwest over the South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST today dissipating trough from low located on a
line north-south over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:49 AM NST 13 December 2013 A deep and large low pressure system currently south of Greenland
will slowly move northwestward to lie over the East Labrador Sea
tonight. Gale to storm force northwesterlies will persist over most
waters throughout the forecast period.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea. Gale warnings
are in effect for all remaining waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
