Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Sunday low 960 mb located southeast of Labrador

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight approaching trough located over Quebec.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:47 AM NST 22 November 2014 An intense low pressure system over the Southern South Labrador Sea
will slowly track eastward across the Southern Labrador Sea today to
lie southeast of the marine district tonight. Strong to gale force
northeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to generally gale to
storm force northwesterlies in its wake. Hurricane force
northwesterlies are forecast for the Labrador coast south of Hopedale

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for the South Labrador Coast and Mid Labrador Coast -
Hopedale and south. Storm warnings are in effect for South Labrador
Sea, Northwest Labrador Sea - southern half, and East Labrador Sea -
northern half. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville and the Labrador coast.
