Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:55 PM PST 6 March 2014 An Arctic ridge of high pressure over the British Columbia Interior
will slowly weaken tonight. Gale force northeasterly outflow winds
through the mainland inlets will ease to strong by Friday morning.
Meanwhile, a strong Pacific frontal system will approach the central
and northern waters Friday afternoon. Strong to gale force southeast
winds will develop over these waters Friday morning and will rise to
gale to storm force southeast in the afternoon.
