Issued 9:30 PM PDT 20 September 2014 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located from the Alaska
panhandle to Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday frontal system located from the Alaska
panhandle to Queen Charlotte Sound then to Explorer.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight deepening low 998 mb located southwest
of Bowie.
By 10:00 a.m. PDT Sunday low 980 mb located over northwestern Bowie.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over northern Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:43 AM PDT 21 September 2014 A deepening low pressure system will track north-northeastward across
Western Bowie this morning.

Strong to gale force southeasterly winds will develop ahead of the
low over most northern and central waters.

Gale force southerly winds over Bowie will shift to storm force
westerly behind the low this morning then ease to strong to gale
force westerly later this afternoon.

Winds will ease below gale force over all regions this evening as the
low moves into the Alaska Panhandle and weakens.
