Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM NST 24 November 2014 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 976 mb located southeast of James Bay.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Tuesday low 972 mb located over the South
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 PM NST 24 November 2014 A low pressure system just southeast of James Bay will intensify as
it tracks northeastward across Quebec tonight and is then expected to
move off the Mid Labrador Coast Tuesday afternoon. Strong to gale
force southeasterlies will spread over most waters as the low
approaches. Strong to gale force southwesterlies will develop south
of the low on Tuesday as it moves off the coast.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south and the
South Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that all freezing spray warnings
have been ended.
