Issued 4:00 PM NST 27 November 2014 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located north of Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday weakening trough located northeast of
Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Friday weakening ridge located on a line east-west
over the South Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today low 990 mb located over Cabot Strait.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Friday departing low 988 mb located east of Funk
Island Bank.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:52 PM NST 27 November 2014 An approaching low pressure system will track northeastward across
Newfoundland tonight. Strong to gale force northerly winds are
expected over the South Labrador Coast tonight and Friday morning.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
South Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the South Labrador Sea and East Labrador
Sea.
