Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:55 AM NDT 20 October 2014 A low pressure system southeast of Cape Breton Island will rapidly
intensify as it tracks northwards across the South Labrador Coast
this evening before crossing the South Labrador Sea overnight
tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies will develop ahead of
the low today and will switch to strong to gale force northwesterlies
in its wake on Tuesday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea,
Northwest Labrador Sea - southern half and the East Labrador Sea -
