By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing low 994 mb located over Davis
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 991 mb located over northern Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Thursday low 988 mb located over the Northwest
Marine Weather StatementIssued 4:02 PM NDT 17 September 2014 A low pressure system just north of the Northwest Labrador Sea will
move northwestwards into the Davis Strait this evening. Gale force
southeasterlies east of the low will continue over the East Labrador
Sea until the low departs.
A second low pressure system over Northern Quebec will move slowly
eastward to lie over the Northwest Labrador Sea on Thursday.
Gale force westerlies will develop over the Central Labrador coast
overnight and move northeastward over the Labrador Sea through the
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for Mid
Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale, North Labrador Coast - Saglek and
south, South Labrador Sea, Northwest Labrador Sea - southern half,
and East Labrador Sea - northern half.
