By 9:30 p.m. NST Monday low 982 mb located southeast of Greenland.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the South Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Monday departing trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Monday ridge located over central Labrador.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:31 PM NST 8 December 2013 A low pressure system south of Greenland will continue to slowly
drift eastward tonight. A trough of low pressure over the South
Labrador Coast will continue moving southeastward and leave the
marine district overnight tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies will persist over the marine district tonight and
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
