Issued 9:30 AM NST 26 November 2014 Today Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 a.m. NST today low 974 mb located southeast of the East
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing low 973 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today trough located over Hudson Strait.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Thursday trough located north of the Northwest
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located over southern Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Thursday ridge located on a line east-west over
central Labrador.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 AM NST 26 November 2014 A low pressure system just southeast of the East Labrador Sea will
continue to track eastward to lie southeast of Greenland by this
evening. Strong to gale force northwesterlies behind the low will
diminish by tonight as it moves off.

A weak trough presently over Hudson Strait will move northeastward to
lie just north of the Northwest Labrador Sea by tonight. Strong to
gale force westerly winds will develop over northern waters tonight
as it approaches.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Labrador coast, South Labrador Sea, and the Northwest Labrador Sea -
southern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Mid Labrador Coast - north of Hopedale, the North
Labrador Coast, and the Northwest Labrador Sea.
