Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:57 PM NST 5 December 2013 A low pressure system currently east of Belle Isle Bank will continue
to track northeastward to lie southeast of the Labrador Sea by Friday
morning. Strong to gale force northeasterlies ahead of this system
will back to strong to gale force northwesterlies before diminishing
A second low is expected to move across Northern Labrador on Friday
afternoon. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop over
northern waters ahead of this system on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south, South
