Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:26 AM NST 6 December 2013 A low pressure system is expected to move across Northern Labrador
this afternoon and lie over the Northwest Labrador Sea by Saturday
morning. Strong to gale force southeasterlies ahead of this system
will shift to strong to gale force westerlies in its wake.
Storm force southeasterlies will develop over the northwestern half
of the East Labrador Sea overnight tonight.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
the East Labrador Sea - northwestern half. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the Northwest Labrador Sea and the East
