Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:19 PM NST 5 December 2013 A low pressure system currently southeast of the Labrador Sea will
move to lie south of Greenland by Friday morning. Strong to gale
force northeasterlies ahead of this system will back to strong to
gale force northwesterlies in its wake before diminishing later
A second low is expected to move across Northern Labrador on Friday
afternoon. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will develop over
northern waters ahead of this system on Friday.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Sea - southeastern half, Northwest Labrador Sea -
southeastern half and the East Labrador Sea.
