By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday deepening low 975 mb located over the
South Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located off Labrador Coast.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located north of the
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:53 AM NDT 22 September 2014 A deepening low pressure system approaching from the southwest will
move to lie over the South Labrador Coast this evening before
tracking across the Labrador Sea tonight and Tuesday. Strong to gale
force southeast to northeast winds will spread over most of the
district later today into tonight ahead of this low then shift to
gale to storm force northwesterlies in its wake.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea - northern half. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters except Lake Melville.
