over Hudson Bay.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:52 AM NDT 22 October 2014 A deep low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continue to
track eastward today. Strong to gale force northwesterlies in the
wake of the low will gradually diminish this morning.
A secondary trough of low pressure will track across the Hudson
Strait today and across the North Labrador Sea this evening to lie
over the East Labrador Sea tonight. Strong to gale force westerlies
will develop ahead of this trough.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - northern half, South Labrador Sea, Northwest
Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea.
