over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday dissipating trough from low located on a
line northeast-southwest over the Mid Labrador Coast.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:52 AM NST 12 December 2013 A deepening low pressure system currently south of Greenland will
slowly move northwestward throughout the forecast period. Gale force
northeasterlies to northwesterlies will persist over most waters.
Storm force northerlies to westerlies will develop today over
southeastern waters and will spread westward as the low deepens and
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Labrador coast, South Labrador Sea - southern half, Northwest
Labrador Sea - southern half and East Labrador Sea - southern half.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters except Lake
Melville. Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray
warnings are in effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
