Issued 9:30 PM NDT 20 October 2014 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 975 mb located over the South
Labrador Coast.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 987 mb located south of Greenland.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over Hudson Strait.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday dissipating ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the North Labrador Coast.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:12 PM NDT 20 October 2014 A rapidly intensifying low pressure system will track across
Southeastern Labrador this evening and across the South Labrador Sea
tonight. Strong to gale force northeasterlies can be expected ahead
of the low while strong to gale force northwesterlies will occur in
its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast -
Saglek and south, South Labrador Sea, Northwest Labrador Sea -
southern half and the East Labrador Sea - southern half.
