Issued 9:30 PM NDT 27 August 2014 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 985 mb located southeast of the East
Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Thursday departing low 981 mb located south
of Greenland.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight building ridge located over northern
Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Thursday ridge located over Labrador Coast.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT Thursday intensifying trough located west of
Greenland.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:26 PM NDT 27 August 2014 A low pressure system southeast of the East Labrador Sea will track
northeastward away from the district tonight. Gale force
northwesterlies over southeastern waters in the wake of the low will
diminish tonight. On Thursday, gale force northwesterlies will
develop over the East Labrador Sea as a trough of low pressure
strengthens west of Greenland.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea - southeastern half and East Labrador Sea.
