Technical Marine SynopsisIssued 9:30 PM NDT 29 September 2014 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight quasi-stationary low 952 mb located
southeast of Greenland.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:50 AM NDT 30 September 2014 A low pressure system will remain quasi-stationary southeast of
Greenland tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterly winds behind
this system are expected to gradually diminish today.
Additionally, a second low pressure system over Northern Quebec will
track southeastward to lie over the Labrador Sea overnight tonight.
Strong to gale force northwesterly winds will develop tonight under
the influence of these systems.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
