By 4:00 p.m. NST Friday low 949 mb located over the East Labrador
At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough from low located on a line east-west
over the North Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday dissipating trough from low located on a
line northeast-southwest over the Mid Labrador Coast.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:53 PM NST 12 December 2013 A deep and large low pressure system currently south of Greenland
will slowly move northwestward to lie over the East Labrador Sea on
Friday. Gale to storm force northwesterlies will persist over most of
the Labrador coast and Labrador Sea throughout the forecast period.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Labrador coast, South Labrador Sea - southern half, and Northwest
Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters
except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
