Issued 9:30 AM NDT 22 September 2014 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today deepening low 990 mb located over the
southern Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Tuesday deepening low 970 mb located over the
East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing ridge located north of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:19 AM NDT 22 September 2014 A deepening low pressure system approaching from the southwest will
move to lie over the South Labrador Coast this evening before
tracking across the Labrador Sea tonight and Tuesday. Strong to gale
force southeast to northeast winds will spread over most of the
district later today into tonight ahead of this low then shift to
gale to storm force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea - northern half. Gale warnings are in effect for
all remaining waters except Lake Melville.
