Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:48 AM PDT 23 September 2014 An intense low pressure system developing over the Eastern Pacific
ocean will continue to approach BC waters this morning. The system
will gradually move northeastward and will reach Northwestern
Explorer late Wednesday morning.
Widespread gale force easterly or southeasterly winds are expected
ahead of the low over the offshore waters and along the outer
Gale to storm force southeast winds are likely on Wednesday for
waters in the vicinity of Northern Vancouver Island.
