Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:55 PM PST 5 December 2013 The strengthening Arctic ridge will combine with a developing low
over west coast Vancouver Island to produce gale to marginal storm
force outflow winds through the north, central, and South Coast
inlets for tonight and Friday. Through some north and Central Coast
mainland inlets, the outflow winds will be strong enough that with
dropping temperatures overnight and into Friday freezing spray will
begin to be a hazard.
The Arctic ridge of high pressure will remain over the British
Columbia Interior until early this weekend.
