Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight weakening trough located on a line
north-south over Vancouver Island.
At 10:30 a.m. PST Friday low 980 mb located over the Gulf of Alaska.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:33 PM PST 12 December 2013 A weakening trough of low pressure currently oriented north-south
over Queen Charlotte Sound will lie over Vancouver Island this
Strong to gale force southeast winds are expected ahead of the trough
early this evening. Winds will ease later this evening.
On Friday, a low pressure centre over the Gulf Of Alaska will bring
gale to storm force southerly to southwesterly winds over northern
and central waters.
