Issued 4:00 AM PDT 21 October 2014 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low 973 mb located 350 miles west of Langara.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.

At midnight PDT tonight trough located over central Vancouver

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:45 AM PDT 21 October 2014 A frontal system over Queen Charlotte Sound will gradually approach
Northern Vancouver Island today. The system has spread gale
Force southeasterlies to the offshore and northern waters. In the
wake of the front, gale to storm force westerlies will develop over
the northern and offshore waters today.

A trough of low pressure will cross Central Vancouver Island this
evening. Gale force southeasterly winds will develop over the
Southern Strait of Georgia, Haro Strait, eastern sections
Of Juan de Fuca strait and southern sections of Vancouver Island late
this evening.
