northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over Washington State.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:48 AM PDT 2 September 2014 A ridge of high pressure building over the central Pacific Ocean will
shift slowly eastward to the west of the offshore waters by this
afternoon. The ridge will stay anchored over the place through the
next few days. East of the ridge strong westerly or northwesterly
winds will prevail through this week.
A cold front over Northern Vancouver Island this morning will move
southward to Washington state by this afternoon. With the passage of
this system, marginal gale force westerly or northwesterly winds
Are expected to develop over most parts of southern and inner waters
this afternoon and evening.
