Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:59 PM PST 21 November 2014 A Pacific front in a north to south line across Vancouver Island this
afternoon will reach the South Coast this evening. Over southern
waters strong to gale force southeast winds will ease to moderate to
strong westerly in the front's wake. Westerly gales are expected
through Juan de Fuca strait this evening. Winds elsewhere are
generally moderate to strong from the west.
A low pressure system well offshore will reach Bowie Saturday evening
causing southerly winds to rise to gale force across central waters
as it approaches.
