Issued 9:30 PM PDT 21 September 2014 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight weakening low 982 mb located over the
Alaska panhandle.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Monday low 988 mb located over the Yukon.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight weakening cold front located on a line
north-south over Hecate Strait.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Monday cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:23 PM PDT 21 September 2014 A low pressure system over the Alaska Panhandle will weaken and move
into Yukon tonight. A cold front extending southward from the
Low will move onto the BC coast tonight. Strong to gale force
southeasterly winds ahead of the cold front will shift to moderate to
strong west or southwest behind the front over most central and
northern waters.

Meanwhile, strong to gale force westerlies have developed in the Juan
de Fuca strait this evening.

Winds will ease below gale force throughout overnight.
