Issued 4:00 AM PDT 20 September 2014 Today Tonight and Sunday By 4:00 a.m. PDT today departing low 990 mb located north of Bowie.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over northern Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today deepening low 1002 mb located west of
Explorer.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday low 986 mb located over northern Bowie.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:09 AM PDT 20 September 2014 A low pressure centre north of Bowie will continue to move
northeastward this morning. Gale force southerly winds over the
northern waters will ease somewhat this morning before the next low
moves onto Northern Bowie Sunday morning.

The second low will likely track northeastward over Western Bowie.
Winds over Dixon Entrance West and west coast Haida Gwaii north will
rise to high gales or marginal storms on Sunday as the low
approaches. Gale to storm force southerly winds over Bowie will shift
to storm force westerly behind the low Sunday morning then ease to
strong westerly late Sunday.
