offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 AM PDT 20 June 2013 A weak ridge of high pressure just outside the offshore waters in
combination with an intensifying trough of low pressure over the
Southern British Columbia interior will continue to give moderate to
strong west or northwest winds over most of the South Coast waters
today. Winds are expected to reach gale force locally over Juan de
Fuca strait and Johnstone Strait.
