Island will continue to move southeastward through the South Coast
overnight. Strong to gale force south or southwesterlies ahead of the
front will shift to strong northwesterlies in its wake.
An Arctic high will continue to build over the Northern B.C. interior
causing an Arctic outbreak to develop over the North Coast.
Gale force outflow winds will continue through the Northern Mainland
inlets and will increase to near storm force by Friday morning.
In addition, a large area of gale to storm force northerlies will
develop over most central waters on Friday.
Freezing spray is expected in Douglas Channel beginning Friday
