Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM PST 23 November 2014 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. PST today ridge located on a line north-south over
Cape Scott.
By 4:00 a.m. PST Monday ridge located over BC interior.

At 7:00 p.m. PST tonight intensifying cold front located over
northwestern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PST Monday cold front located near Cape Scott.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:59 PM PST 23 November 2014 A ridge of high pressure will move through the coast this evening.
A developing low will cross Northern Bowie overnight and will reach
the Alaska Panhandle early Monday morning. A cold front will reach
Langara Island by dawn Monday and Northern Vancouver Island in the
afternoon.

Strong westerlies over most waters will ease early this evening as
the ridge moves through. Winds will rise again to southeast gales
over most northern and central waters in advance of the cold front
tonight. Winds will ease to moderate to strong west or northwest
behind the cold front on Tuesday.
