Issued 4:00 AM PDT 30 October 2014 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line north-south
over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today departing frontal system located over the
Lower Mainland.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today intensifying low located over Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 994 mb located over the North Coast.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:02 AM PDT 30 October 2014 A frontal system in a north to south line over Queen Charlotte Sound
will slowly move inland this afternoon. In the wake of the front, a
low pressure system over Explorer will rapidly deepen and track
northward across Haida Gwaii today.

Gale to storm force southeast winds over most waters will continue
today ahead of the systems. In the wake of the front winds in the
south will ease early this evening. As the low moves over the North
Coast late this afternoon, winds over the northern waters will shift
to strong to gale force westerlies.
