Issued 4:00 AM PDT 22 September 2014 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today weakening cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.
By 10:00 a.m. PDT today dissipating cold front located over southern
Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today building ridge located on a line north-south
over Explorer.
By 8:00 p.m. PDT tonight departing ridge located on a line
north-south over Queen Charlotte Sound.

At 5:00 a.m. PDT Tuesday approaching low located southwest of
Explorer.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:55 AM PDT 22 September 2014 A cold front now over Northern Vancouver Island early this morning
will weaken as it moves inland. Strong to gale force southeasterlies
ahead of the front will continue this morning near the headlands of
West Vancouver Island north. The winds will ease as the front
dissipates later this morning.

An intense low pressure system is forecast to approach the offshore
waters on Tuesday. Widespread gale force east to southeast winds
Will develop ahead of the low over the offshore waters and along the
outer coast Tuesday morning.

Gale force east to southeast winds are forecast to continue through
Wednesday.
