northeast-southwest over the central offshore waters.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today quasi-stationary trough located over BC
interior.

Issued 3:48 AM PDT 19 June 2013 A trough of low pressure over the British Columbia southern interior
will intensify this morning. Associated with this system, moderate to
strong west or northwest winds will develop over most of the inner
South Coast waters with local gale force westerlies or
northwesterlies expected over Juan de Fuca strait and Johnstone
Strait late this afternoon.
