Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM PDT 26 May 2013 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located on a line north-south over
Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Monday ridge located over southern BC interior.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located off the offshore
waters.
By 10:30 a.m. PDT Monday frontal system located over Explorer.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 PM PDT 26 May 2013 A frontal system currently over the offshore waters will approach
Explorer tonight. Moderate to strong southeast winds will develop
ahead of the front over most offshore waters tonight with gales
expected off the west coast of Vancouver Island and Explorer -
southeastern half by early Monday morning. Strong southeasterly winds
will also develop over most of the inner south coastal waters later
Monday morning.
