Issued 10:30 AM PST 27 November 2014 Today Tonight and Friday At 10:30 a.m. PST today cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over northern Vancouver Island.
By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Vancouver Island.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today building ridge located over northern
BC interior.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:09 AM PST 27 November 2014 A cold front in a northeast to southwest line over Northern Vancouver
Island this morning will move slowly southeastward through the South
Coast today, reaching Northwestern Washington overnight. Strong to
gale force south or southwesterlies ahead of the front will shift to
strong to gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

An Arctic high will continue to build over the Northern B.C. interior
causing an Arctic outbreak to develop over the North Coast.
Gale force outflow winds will continue through the Northern Mainland
inlets and will increase to near storm force by Friday morning.
In addition, a large area of gale force northerlies will develop over
most central waters on Friday.

Freezing spray is expected in Douglas Channel beginning Friday
afternoon.
