By 5:00 p.m. PDT today low 985 mb located over the Alaska panhandle.
At 4:00 a.m. PDT today weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.
By 5:00 a.m. PDT Monday ridge located over BC interior.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:43 AM PDT 21 September 2014 A deepening low pressure system will track north-northeastward across
Western Bowie this morning.
Strong to gale force southeasterly winds will develop ahead of the
low over most northern and central waters.
Gale force southerly winds over Bowie will shift to storm force
westerly behind the low this morning then ease to strong to gale
force westerly later this afternoon.
Winds will ease below gale force over all regions this evening as the
low moves into the Alaska Panhandle and weakens.
