Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 PM PDT 15 September 2014 A trough of low pressure over the Southern British Columbia and
Washington state coast is expected to move inland tonight. An area of
high pressure will then push up the Washington state coast leading to
strong to localized gale force southerly winds on Tuesday. Likely
areas for these stronger winds are waters directly off the west coast
of Vancouver Island. Strong to gale force inflow winds are also
possible later Tuesday for Juan de Fuca strait.
