Issued 9:30 PM PDT 20 September 2014 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight frontal system located from the Alaska
panhandle to Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT Sunday frontal system located from the Alaska
panhandle to Queen Charlotte Sound then to Explorer.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight deepening low 998 mb located southwest
of Bowie.
By 10:00 a.m. PDT Sunday low 980 mb located over northwestern Bowie.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over northern Vancouver Island.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday weakening ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over central Vancouver Island.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:19 PM PDT 20 September 2014 A front extending southwestward from the Alaska Panhandle will
continue to bring strong to gale force southerlies to the far
northern waters tonight.

A deepening low is forecast to track north-northeastward over Western
Bowie tonight and Sunday morning. Winds over the northern waters will
rise to gale force southeasterly again on Sunday as the low
approaches. Gale force southerly winds over Bowie will shift to storm
force westerly behind the low Sunday morning then ease to strong
westerly late Sunday.
