Issued 10:30 AM PDT 21 October 2014 Today Tonight and Wednesday At 10:30 a.m. PDT today low 971 mb located 240 miles west of
Langara.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Wednesday low 973 mb located over the Gulf
of Alaska.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today frontal system located on a line
northeast-southwest over Queen Charlotte Sound.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today low 995 mb located southwest of Explorer.
By midnight PDT tonight low 980 mb located over central Vancouver
Island.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:27 AM PDT 21 October 2014 A frontal system over Queen Charlotte Sound will gradually approach
Northern Vancouver Island today. The system has spread gale
Force southeasterlies to the central and northern waters. In the
Wake of the front, gale to storm force southwesterlies will develop
over the northern and central waters today.

An area of low pressure will cross Central Vancouver Island this
evening. Gale force southeasterly winds will develop over most of the
southern waters later today.
