Issued 4:00 AM PDT 25 October 2014 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. PDT today ridge located over eastern Pacific Ocean.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Sunday ridge located west of the offshore waters.

At 4:00 a.m. PDT today low 1000 mb located over northern Bowie.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today dissipating low 1000 mb located west of
Haida Gwaii.

At noon PDT today low 990 mb located off the Washington Coast.
By midnight PDT tonight low 993 mb located over southwestern
BC interior.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:48 AM PDT 25 October 2014 A ridge of high pressure building over the Eastern Pacific ocean
Will gradually shift eastward to west of the offshore waters by
Sunday morning. Meanwhile, a low pressure centre over northern
Bowie will remain nearly stationary today before dissipating late
this afternoon. Ahead of the ridge, strong to gale force northerly or
northwesterly winds will prevail over most offshore waters through
the weekend.

At the same time, a low pressure centre is forecast to track
northeastward through Northwestern Washington today. The system will
move to the Southwest BC Interior tonight. Ahead of the low, strong
to gale force easterly winds will develop near the southern tip of
Vancouver Island this morning. Winds will then back to westerly or
northwesterly gales over most southern waters later today in its
wake. Winds will ease Sunday morning as the system weakens.
