Issued 9:30 PM PDT 20 May 2013 Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary ridge located west of
the offshore waters.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight quasi-stationary trough located over
BC interior.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:14 PM PDT 20 May 2013 A strong ridge of high pressure will remain off the offshore waters
while a trough of low pressure intensifies over the province.
Gale force northwesterly winds will continue tonight through Tuesday
over the offshore waters and parts of the central coastal waters.
Strong westerly or northwesterly winds will persist through the inner
straits including Strait of Georgia, Juan de Fuca strait and
Johnstone Strait tonight.
