Issued 4:00 PM PDT 28 August 2014 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. PDT today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Queen Charlotte Sound.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Friday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over northern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today low 1000 mb located over the Gulf of Alaska.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Friday low 998 mb located near the Alaska
panhandle.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today trough from low located off Bowie.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Friday trough from low located on a line
northwest-southeast over eastern Bowie.
 

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:54 PM PDT 28 August 2014 A low pressure system over the Gulf Of Alaska will slowly move
eastward to near the Alaska Panhandle by Friday morning. A trough
from the low located off Bowie will gradually shift to eastern
Bowie through the night. Marginal gale force southwesterly winds
Over northern offshore waters are expected to spread to Dixon
Entrance East near the midnight tonight. The winds will abate
Friday afternoon as the system weakens.
